Today at Apple's Macworld Keynote Address, Apple confirmed circulating rumors that the iTunes wifi store on the iPhone and iPhone 3G would gain the ability to download media over the 3g network. Earlier this morning Phil Schiller, Apple's VP of Worldwide Marketing, announced that they would be dropping the "wifi" from it's name, officially making it just the iTunes Store on the iPhone. With this new change, users will be able to download music anywhere without the need for a wifi signal.
